The AP (10/11) reports that the Consumer Product Safety Commission is recalling “Hundreds of thousands of popular B.O.B. jogging strollers…because of choking concerns.” According to the CPSC, “the backing on an embroidered logo patch on the stroller’s canopy can come loose.” Furthermore, “CPSC says the firm has received six reports of children mouthing a detached patch backing,” two of which involved gagging and choking. More than 411,000 singe and double jogging strollers are subject to the recall in the US. Affected models were sold at REI, Babies R Us, and other stores from November 1998 until October 2011.
