16 was plastered all over signs, in slogans, and on posters on Monday during an event aimed at raising car safety awareness in teens, reported the Asbury Park Press. 16 is the average number of teenagers killed daily nationwide in auto accidents.

118 students from the six Freehold Regional district high schools in New Jersey gathered to educate their peers on car safety and how to avoid New Jersey car accidents. As part of the Keep the Drive New Jersey program, student help out in programs, rallies, events, and word of mouth to spread the car safety message to their peers.
